Job Type: Contractor (Project-based)

Job Summary

Use your Go, Python and TypeScript experience to design realistic engineering tasks, review AI-generated code and improve the signal quality of software-focused model evaluations.

In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to help AI teams test capabilities, identify failure modes and build more reliable evaluation workflows. The work is structured, remote and reviewed against clear quality standards.

What You Will Do

  • Create practical coding tasks that reflect real engineering workflows across Go, Python and TypeScript.
  • Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, readability, idiomatic language use, test coverage and maintainability.
  • Write reference implementations, unit tests and concise reviewer notes that make evaluation decisions repeatable.
  • Surface edge cases, failure modes and common implementation mistakes that models should learn to handle.
  • Improve task prompts and scoring rubrics so they measure genuine software engineering ability.
  • Participate in structured technical review loops with clear written feedback and quality checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced hands-on experience building production systems or substantial projects in Go.
  • Working proficiency in Python and TypeScript, including the ability to read, write and review idiomatic code.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, testing, debugging, performance tradeoffs and maintainable code structure.
  • Clear written communication, especially when explaining technical judgments and review decisions.
  • Experience reviewing code for correctness, efficiency, reliability and long-term maintainability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with backend services, distributed systems, developer tooling or codebase refactoring.
  • Background writing technical documentation, assessment content, coding interview tasks or benchmark-style problems.
  • Interest in AI evaluation work; prior model training or annotation experience is welcome but not required.
